CIRC-UITS project started in 2023 January and the kick-off meeting took place in Milan, Italy.
The project kick-off meeting started on the first day with the introduction of the partners at a roundtable. Each participant prepared a presentation in which their institution was presented, the most important information and the results achieved so far in the framework of similar projects. Subsequently, the project vision was introduced by the lead partner Politecnico di Milano.
The main objectives of the three-year project are:
- To fully exploit the potential and benefits of circular practices through digital technologies.
- Increasing resource efficiency, independence and reducing the negative environmental footprint of electronics manufacturing processes.
- Improving the sharing, exchange and standardization of information and data between industry leaders in the same and/or similar value chains.
- Demonstrate the benefits of the digital circular economy through 4 pilot projects.
