The CIRC-UITS project was presented at the 100th Benchmarking Meeting of the Southwest Hungarian Engineering Cluster (SWHEC), held on 17 October 2025 at the Magtár Event Hall in Pécs, Hungary. This milestone event brought together representatives of the regional manufacturing industry, research institutions, and business partners to exchange experiences and explore opportunities for innovation and collaboration. The agenda included key topics such as the EU Directive on Pay Transparency, the integration of AI solutions in business operations, and the CSR activities of the KórházSuli Foundation.
Connecting Digital Innovation and Circular Economy
The CIRC-UITS project aligns closely with the themes of the meeting, particularly in its focus on supporting digital transformation and sustainable industrial development. By promoting the principles of the circular economy, the project helps companies adapt to the challenges of the green transition through innovative and resource-efficient solutions.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of AI-based tools for commerce and market research by Fórum-Plussz Kft., demonstrating how digital technologies can enhance efficiency and decision-making in industrial operations. These developments reflect the same innovation-driven approach that underpins the CIRC-UITS project — combining data-driven methods, automation, and environmental responsibility to strengthen the competitiveness of manufacturing SMEs in the region.
Strengthening Cooperation for a Greener Industry
Through its participation in the benchmarking meeting, the CIRC-UITS project reinforced its commitment to building partnerships and fostering knowledge exchange among industrial stakeholders. The collaboration with SWHEC and its members supports the shared goal of creating a smarter, greener, and more resilient industrial ecosystem in Southwest Hungary and across Europe.
