🚀 CIRCUITS at the Sardinia Symposium 2025! 🌍♻️

From October 13–17, 2025, the 20th International Symposium on Waste Management, Resource Recovery and Sustainable Landfilling took place in Santa Margherita di Pula (Cagliari, Italy), one of the most prestigious global conferences in the field of sustainable wastemanagement.

CIRC-UITS partners Erion and SAT proudly participated in this year’s edition, contributing to the international dialogue on circularity and innovation in the electronics sector.

🎤 Simonetta Cota (ERION) delivered an oral presentation on the paper “Leveraging Digital Tools for Circular Electronics: AI-Driven PCB Reuse and Waste Management Solutions.”
The presentation showcased the progress made in Pilot4, focusing on improving process efficiency in PCB sorting, promoting component reuse, and advancing material clusterization for recycling.

The discussion highlighted both the technological advancements and the regulatory challenges faced, underlining how the twintransition, digital and green, can drive innovation across the electronics value chain.

The Sardinia Symposium, organized by Eurowaste Srl and the IWWG – International Waste Working Group, is a key platform for connecting science, technology, and practice in sustainable waste and resource management.
