CIRC-UITS at ELMIA Subcontractor 2025: Strengthening Industrial Innovation Through Circularity

The Pécs-Baranyai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PBKIK), as an active partner of the CIRC-UITS project, successfully presented the initiative at ELMIA Subcontractor 2025, one of Northern Europe’s leading industrial subcontracting exhibitions. The fair is Scandinavia’s most important meeting point for the manufacturing sector, bringing together more than a thousand exhibitors and tens of thousands of industry professionals to explore the latest technologies and innovations.

Throughout the exhibition, representative of PBKIK provided information at the CIRC-UITS stand, engaging with stakeholders interested in sustainable manufacturing practices, digital transformation, and new models of cross-sector collaboration. Visitors had the opportunity to learn how CIRC-UITS helps companies adopt resource-efficient technologies and develop future-oriented business models.

A highlight of the participation was the presence of Matro Kft., a key automotive supplier from the South Transdanubian region of Hungary. By joining the CIRC-UITS stand, the company gained valuable international visibility and explored new professional connections aligned with its technological and sustainability goals. Their involvement demonstrated how regional SMEs can benefit from EU-funded innovation projects to enhance their competitiveness on global markets.

Participation at ELMIA Subcontractor 2025 contributed directly to the project’s dissemination objectives and enabled CIRC-UITS to reach a highly relevant industrial audience.
