♻️ Erion is the largest Extended Producer Responsibility System in Italy, providing its Producers with the regulatory and technical assistance they need to fulfill the legal obligations related to the management of waste from electronic products, batteries, packaging, tobacco products and textiles. 🤝 The System supports the transition towards #circulareconomy also by participating in several European research projects, with a focus on education, technological innovation and system innovation.
🤖 Within CircUits, Erion leads the pilot “Sorting Obsolete PCBs”, which aims to develop a system based on AI to support operators in sorting reusable #PCBs, as well as a platform to enable treatment plants to sell these and other second-life electronic components to manufacturers.
